We are delighted to present Dr. Kathleen Mays as the newest member of our Foundation board of directors. Dr. Mays’ appointment was approved by the board of the Publishing House at their March 2020 meeting. Since 2019, Dr. Mays has been Associate Dean and Professor of Business at La Tourneau University, Longview, Texas. The prior ten years she was professor at the Fred Hale School of Business at East Texas Baptist University. She says her love for cross-cultural missions began when she was a little girl listening to missionaries speak. As an adult, she and her husband have supported various mission efforts around the world, including Bible translation, church planting, and higher education. Describing her reason for agreeing to serve on the board, Dr. Mays said, “Working with the CASA Foundation fits perfectly with my concern for people everywhere and their need for Christ. I’m eager to serve in this capacity for this great ministry.” Welcome, Dr. Mays!
