Until 1999, the Baptist Spanish Publishing House (Casa) received a generous contribution from the International Mission Board in support of its mission to publish Christian materials to spread the Word of God.  In order for the Casa to adequately continue its historical publishing mission, someone or some institution needed to make up the shortfall which resulted with the loss of subsidies, and this is where the BSPH Foundation came in.  The Baptist Spanish Publishing House Foundation was chartered in April 2000 as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds for the Casa so that Spanish-speaking people across the globe may come to know the Lord, and grow in their Christian faith.
